We loved it! Great service, great atmosphere and amazing food. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to ordering, and also gave us some great tips about the local area as well. Overall we couldn’t fault it, and have already told so many people to visit.
A friend recommended Mangosteen and we’re really glad they did. We made a last-minute booking over the phone and were looked after from the moment we arrived. The manager and team were great – friendly, attentive and relaxed. Even though the place was busy, it never felt hectic. There was a calm, welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. We ordered six small plates to share between the two of us, and honestly, every single one was spot on. Beautifully presented and full of flavour. You can tell care goes into both the cooking and the service. We’ll definitely be back.
Amazing food for such reasonable prices! Their lunchtime deal was fantastic with the option of 4 small plates and 2 drinks. For two people it was a perfect amount of food. The decor is really lovely and the workers were all lovely. Great experience on a budget :)
Just excellent. The real highlight is that service is REALLY quick and everything magically comes at once-- we were served within 5 minutes of ordering. That makes Mangosteen great for a quick meal. It's a bonus that all of the staff we interacted with were lovely. The food was amazing. Particularly recommend the sweet and sour aubergine. One thing to be aware of if you are vegetarian is that just because a dish is 'vegetable' based that doesn't make it vegetarian- a few things have fish sauce in them even though they are vegetable based. It would be great to see dishes more clearly marked if they are vegetarian or vegan. We had a great meal here and will certainly be back .
Tap lager was fresh and food was amazing! We really loved their papaya salad and butter prawn! Great vibe as well! Gonna revisit when I am hanging out in this area!
Bruh they played Kendrick - damn and they gave me a Prosecco because it was my birthday. Very well run, really tasty food and great presentation. I was with a group of 6 and everyone loved it, my friend asked for Thai spicy and it wasn't as spicy as he wanted and they offered to try again. He declined and still really enjoyed the food. I'll try the north street outlet next.
Loved the ambience even though seating is moderate. The food was excellent from the starters of spring roll to the main course of noodles and fried rice. Their beers are an excellent pair with the food too. The host was super friendly and welcoming too. This place is located right next to the street and easily visible and their menu is especially budget friendly.
All the food we ordered was amazing. The staff was amazing, gave my girlfriend presecco for finishing her exams that day. Overall lovely experience. Would recommend
